How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

The Blind Man
Two Nuns wanted to paint their cubicle. They asked the Reverend Mother if they could paint their cubicle. She agreed but warned them not to get any paint on their habits.
After much thought and deliberation, they decided to lock their door and paint in the nude, thereby not getting any paint on their habits. In the midst of painting, someone knocked on the door. “Who is it”, they asked. “It’s the blind man”, was the reply.
They talked and decided what could it hurt if they let him in. . .after all he was blind.
So they opened the door and in walks the blind man and says “Which window do you want these hung on?”
The Lost Chapter of Genesis
Adam was hanging around the Garden of Eden feeling very lonely.
So, God asked him, “What is wrong with you?”
Adam said he didn’t have anyone to talk to.
God said that He was going to make Adam a companion and that it would be a woman.
He Said, “This pretty lady will gather food for you, she will cook for you, and when you discover clothing, she will wash it for you.
She will always agree with every decision you make and she will not nag you, and will always be the first to admit she was wrong when you’ve had a disagreement.
She will praise you!
She will bear your children, and never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them.
She will NEVER have a headache and will freely give you love and passion whenever you need it.”
Adam asked God, “What will a woman like this cost?”
God replied, “An arm and a leg.”
Then Adam asked, “What can I get for a rib?”
The rest
of course…
…is history.
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.
A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history. A real friend could blackmail you with it.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument. A real friend calls you after you had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you!
